Whatever your age or life story, and wherever you’re coming from, we’d love to meet you. What you’ll find when you arrive is a group of genuine people trying to follow God in a wholehearted and uncomplicated way.

The Prime Minister’s announcement regarding Lockdown 2 has inevitable consequences for church life; but we are keen to support the government as it seeks to slow the pandemic across the country.

There will be no services at King Edward Road or Hayesfield School during November, but our online service will continue at 10.30am each Sunday. Click on the red button below.  We’ll give details of the next services to take place in person as soon as we are able.

The church office will continue to be open at the usual times Monday to Friday 9am – 12 and 1 – 3pm.  Phone the office on 01225 427428 or email but please do not visit the Church office in person unless it is absolutely necessary.

The church will be open for individual prayer Monday to Friday 9am – 12 and 1 – 3pm.

All our other ministries will move online including fellowship groups, student groups plus youth and children’s ministry.

Our pattern of ‘live’ services is a bit different from normal (see below) and it is essential to book a named place by the previous Thursday 1.00pm. Contact

Or click on the red button below and join us online for our 10.30am Sunday Service and regular youth and children’s features.

Also for these troubled times we’ve launched a new sister website ‘The Hope Initiative’. Click on the blue button below and have your heart and mind refreshed.

Our staff team are all working as normal and are fully contactable (you can pick up our emails in the ‘Staff Team’ area of this website). If you want to speak with someone then ring the church office number Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 12 noon or 1.00pm to 3.00pm.

St Bart’s is seeking to offer volunteer assistance, food and medical supplies to the most vulnerable in our communities so email or phone the church office, if you or someone you know, needs urgent help.

We’ve got lots being planned both ‘in person’ (you need to book) and online, along with a great message of hope!
