Welcome to St. Bart's    

Knowing Jesus, loving each other, sharing the Gospel, by God's grace  

St. Bart's Church, Bath, is situated on King Edward Road in Oldfield Park.             

The church buildings on King Edward RoadWe believe that Jesus Christ died to take the punishment for our sin, and rose from the dead so that we could spend eternity with God. We are committed to sharing that amazing news with as many people as possible.

We are a community of people of all ages and backgrounds, learning together from God's Word, and trying to live our lives in obedience to what the Bible teaches, sharing God's love in practical ways within and beyond the church. Although we are an Anglican Church, we have members from a variety of denominational backgrounds….and none! We are a parish church rooted in the community and here to serve the local area, yet members also come to us from across the city and beyond.

Our morning services are at 9.30am and 11.15am each Sunday, with evening services at 6pm and 6.30pm (StBarts@6.30). Clear and relevant Bible teaching is central to our services, and we have a good mix of contemporary and traditional songs.  There are activities for children and young people, as we meet together and we warmly encourage students to take part in the life of the church here.

           Text for 2012: "I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God."
