Students at St Bart's
We hope that you enjoy your time
studying in Bath, and that St Bart’s is a place where you’ll feel right at home
and will grow in your faith and love for the Lord Jesus. Here’s what’s
happening for students:
·
Focus – our main student discipleship programme. Focus
happens on Tuesday evenings, from 7.30-9.30 in the Church Centre. We enjoy tea
and cake together, look at the Bible in small groups, hear a talk about living
for Jesus at uni, and pray for each other. A great way to get to know others at
church and grow in your relationship with God.
·
Student Lunch - every Sunday during term time. Grab a
coffee after the 11.15 service and meet some of the church family, then enjoy
great food, time to get to know others better and to think about an issue
students face.
·
St Bart’s at 6.30. Most of our students come to our 11.15
service (followed by student lunch) or our 6.30 service (followed by pizza and
discussion). 6.30 is more informal and contemporary. Lifts are available back
to campus.
·
One-to-one – many students have found it really helpful to
meet up with an older Christian to read the Bible and pray together. We offer
one-to-ones to all students who would like one – contact John Miller for more
info.
·
The amazing Student Getaway is back! A chance to
enjoy some time away from Bath with great teaching and time to relax: 2nd - 5th February 2012.
·
Getting involved – there are loads of different
opportunities for serving (music, children, homeless ministry, etc) – contact
John, Will or Lizzie to find out more.
·
Lifts - we have lifts available from Newton Campus and Bath Uni campus (bus stop). Call John (07821 180901) to find out more.
