Sunday services & activities at St. Bartholomew's 9.30 am service A service for all the family, with crèche
(under 3s) and Young Church (various groups for children aged 3 to 11).
Please note that our GAP group (for 11 to 18s) only runs at the 11.15am service.
As in all our services, Bible teaching is central to our time together. We focus on consecutive reading through books of the Bible to enable us to have a clear understanding of God's word, its meaning, its context and purpose, so as to apply its lessons to our lives. There is an opportunity to pray with members of the prayer team after this service and everyone is encouraged to stay for refreshments in the Church Centre from 10.45am. 11.15 am service This is virtually identical to the 9.30am service, although in addition to crèche (under 3s) and Young Church (various groups for children aged 3 to 11) there is a GAP group (for 11 to 18s). Refreshments are served in the Church Centre from 10.45am before this service and again at 12.30pm after the service. For more information about our provision for children, young people and students, please refer to Youth at St Bart's and Students at St Bart's. Transport may be arranged for those requiring it. Please contact us for details. 6 pm service A quieter, more reflective service held in the Church. This service also follows a series of consecutive readings through books of the Bible, though from a different book to that in the morning service. Transport may be also be arranged for those requiring it. Please contact us for details. St Barts@7 A contemporary-style evening service with a more informal approach, held in the Church Centre. Refreshments are provided before the service begins. The focus is again on God's word, to enable us to understand and apply it appropriately. StBarts@7 is followed by After Eights, offering food and an opportunity for discussion for those wishing to stay. Please contact us for more information.
