Youth at St. Bart's

Hello, and welcome to our church!

Whether you are looking to introduce your child to the Christian faith, explore yours further, or simply want to know what facilities are available in the church centre for youngsters, you are most welcome to visit the church and its centre.

Sundays

Each Sunday morning we welcome all ages of children into church, occasionally for an "all-age" service, but mostly for a service during which young people (from 0 to 11 years at the 9.30am service; 0 to 14 years at the 11.15am service) get together into similar age groups for activities. Please note that eXalt, for 15 to 18 year olds meets after StBarts@6.30

eXceed

eXceed (our crèche) operates every Sunday to enable parents/carers to join our church services.  Play and songs for ages 0-3. Group leaders are all CRB checked. If you prefer to stay in crèche with your child, there is an audio link to listen to the service. Services start at 9.30 or 11.15am, eXceed approximately 15 minutes later.

eXplode

An exciting activity-packed session for 3 to 5 year olds meeting during our Sunday morning services. Stories, crafts and songs are used to discover the bible stories. This group runs at 9.30 and 11.15am services. Group leaders are all CRB checked.

eXcite

As our name suggests we aim for an action-packed mix of games, stories and activities for 5s to 7s, as we learn more about Jesus. This group runs at both the 9.30 and 11.15am services. Group leaders are all CRB checked.

eXplore

An opportunity for 7-11 year olds to explore the Christian faith through drama, videos, crafts and more! This group runs at both the 9.30 and 11.15am services. Group leaders are all CRB checked.

eXtreme & eXalt

For our young people aged 11-14 and 15-18, discovering how the bible helps people live life as God intends and discussing various topics about today's world from a Christian perspective. eXtreme meets during the 11.15am Sunday morning service. eXalt meets after the 6.30pm service. Group leaders are all CRB checked.

Other groups

Teeny Tots

A toddler group welcoming all pre-schoolers accompanied by a carer.  A relaxed, friendly setting for chat and play, crafts, stories & song-time. Meets every Monday in term-time from 9.30 to 11.30am. This group is run by a team of CRB-checked church volunteers. 

ENGAGE713

Our weekly youth group for those in school years 7 to 13 (secondary school). Meets from 7.30 to 9.30pm on Fridays in term-time with games, refreshments, bible talk and small group activities. All welcome. This group is run by a team of CRB-checked church volunteers.
