Youth at St. Bart's

Hello, and welcome to our church!

Whether you are looking to introduce your child to the Christian faith, explore yours further, or simply want to know what facilities are available in the church centre for youngsters, you are most welcome to visit the church and its centre.

Sunday mornings

Each Sunday morning at 10am we welcome all ages of children into church, either for an "all-age" service, or for a service during which young people (from 0 to 18 years) get together into similar age groups for activities.

Crèche

Crèche operates every Sunday to enable parents/carers to join our church services.  Play and songs for ages 0-3. A rota of church parents provides care (at least one with CRB disclosure). If you prefer to stay in crèche with your child, there is an audio link to listen to the service. Services start at 10am, crèche approximately 15 minutes later.

Scramblers

An exciting activity-packed session for 3 to 5 year olds meeting during our Sunday morning service. Stories, crafts and songs are used to discover the bible stories.

eXcite

As our name suggests we aim for an action-packed mix of games, stories and activities for 5s to 7s, as we learn more about Jesus.

eXplore

An opportunity for 7-11 year olds to explore the Christian faith through drama, videos, crafts and more!

GAP

For our young people aged 11-14 and 14-18, discovering how the bible helps people live life as God intends and discussing various topics about today's world from a Christian perspective. Meets during the Sunday morning service, with additional monthly social activities.

Other groups

Teeny Tots

A toddler group welcoming all pre-schoolers accompanied by a carer.  A relaxed, friendly setting for chat and play, crafts, stories & song-time. Meets every Monday in term-time from 9.30 to 11.30. This group is run by a team of church volunteers.
