Women

There are opportunities for women from both our St Bart’s Oldfield and St Bart’s Riverside congregations to come together for:

Woman To Woman groups

These are daytime groups for women who work part-time or are not working, or who prefer daytime to evening groups.

We meet either in the church centre or in people's homes/gardens. No childcare is provided for these. Currently we run:

  • A book-club style reading group on Tuesday mornings
  • Two bible study and prayer groups on Wednesday afternoons

Mums: The Word

An opportunity for fellowship, Bible study and prayer for mums wanting to further their Christian faith. We meet for Bible study in the church centre every Friday in term time, with a creche for under 5s, gathering from 10.00am for refreshments, with study approximately 10.15am to 11.15am.

Other

Women are fully involved in all aspects of church life, such as our Sunday services and fellowship groups. We also run other events during the year such as Saturday morning breakfasts and evening events. The annual SWGP Bath Women's Conference, on a spring Saturday, is an important date in the annual calendar. For more details see https://bathwomensconference.uk/.
