Supporting student ministry at St Bart’s Bath
What is FoSB?
The Friends of St Bart’s (FoSB) is a new initiative set up to support ministry to students at St Bart’s. We want to enable student work to continue to grow and flourish in the years to come, as we seek to fund future student workers and ministry trainees.
The student team is committed to serving students at University of Bath, Bath Spa University and Norland College through Sunday services; Bible studies for local and international students at Focus and InFocus; meeting with students one-to-one; Student Getaways and Discipleship week; helping students to integrate into the life of the church; and preparing students for life beyond Uni in the workplace and at church.
FoSB seeks to:
• financially support the student team as they reach out to, encourage and train students.
• serve as a network to keep alumni and other supporters connected to St Bart’s and to one another long after they have left. There is an annual reunion and a twice-yearly newsletter to keep members up to date.
FoSB is reliant upon member donations and is hugely grateful for any who can continue to support the student work at St Bart’s.

Partner with us in prayer
We would love you to join us in prayer for the work amongst students, both local and international, as well as the individuals who serve students at St Bart’s.

Give to FoSB
We would love both alumni and friends of St Bart’s to partner with us as we support student ministry. In addition to hearing updates through the newsletter and praying, another way to partner is to give financially.
FoSB is grateful to the Lord for all donations however they are given, whether as a one-off contribution or a regular standing order.
The most efficient way to give is through a standing order with your bank.
If you would like to set up a standing order or make a one-off donation, please contact our Church Office for our bank details.
Add Gift Aid
It is so helpful if you are able to add Gift Aid because it allows us to claim back 25p of Gift Aid for every £1 you donate.
In order for us to be able to claim Gift Aid you need to pay sufficient tax during the tax year in which you make the donation(s). The amount of tax you pay must be at least equal to the value of Gift Aid to be claimed. For example, if you kindly gave us £1000 you would need to have paid £250 in tax last tax year for us to claim Gift Aid on it. Please let us know via the button below if you are able to add Gift Aid.
Give a legacy
You may wish to consider leaving a legacy to FoSB in your will, for which we would be hugely grateful. Your gift would be used to continue to support and build the gospel work among students in Bath, by reaching out to those who do not yet know Jesus, and discipling those who are following him.
